Your first tandem flight at Dobhi
What actually happens, from the counter to the landing field.
Before you fly
Paragliding here depends on the weather: good wind and clear visibility. Spring, summer and autumn usually give the best days; monsoon and bad weather can postpone a flight, and winter depends on the day. So the first thing we do is check today's conditions.
At the launch
You register, your pilot checks the harness and the inspected wing, and you get a short briefing — how to run, how to sit, what to do on landing. You need no experience: in a tandem the pilot flies.
In the air
Then the valley opens under you: snow peaks, green slopes, the Beas and the villages along it. The time in the air depends on your package and the conditions.
What to bring
Very little. Phone, sunglasses, sunscreen, a light jacket, water — and closed, sporty shoes.
